Kaye H. White fought the fight, ran the race and is now in the arms of the Lord. Born on August 28, 1946 to Thomas E. and Jo Kathryn Howell, and passed away April 25, 2016.

Kaye was a graduate of Port Neches Groves High School and Hillcrest Nursing School in Waco. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital. After retiring, she and her son Ryan opened The Tea Room in Beaumont which they ran together for 2 years. Kaye was a long time member of the Agape Sunday School Class at Trinity United Methodist Church and very active with the youth group. In the past few years she attended Wesley United Methodist Church where she enjoyed going to their weekly Bible study.

Preceded in death by her parents, Kaye leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Dan A. White of Beaumont; sons, Ryan A. White of Beaumont, G. Adam White and wife, Lindsey of Albuquerque, New Mexico and countless cousins, extended family and friends; all who will continue to cherish her memory.

The family will receive family and friends Friday, April 29th from 6-8pm at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2pm, Saturday, April 30th in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with burial at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to Beaumont Community Players, 4155 Laurel Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77707.

DAN, WE WERE SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF KAY'S DEATH. WE HAVE BEEN OUT OF TOWN FOR THE PAST WEEK, AND DID NOT LEARN OF THIS UNTIL LAST NIGHT WHEN WE RETURNED. SHE WAS A VERY SPECIAL LADY. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
