Keith Edwin Broussard, 54, of Orange, died Friday, April 24, 2009.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 1, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend James Bradford.

Burial will follow at Mary Williams Cemetery in Orangefield.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Keith was born in Hawthorn, California on May 10, 1954. He is the son of Charles and Von Ella Mills Broussard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orangefield.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Amaline Granger.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Von Ella Broussard; sister, Elaine Atkins of Boulder City, NV; brothers, DeWayne Ware and his wife Lori of California, John Ware and his wife Marcia of Mauriceville, Leslie Broussard and his wife Merri of Orangefield, and Bill Hays Broussard and his wife Pam of Mauriceville; ten nieces and nephews; and twelve great nieces and nephews;

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Hays Broussard, Robert Schlicher, Caine Blackburn, John Ware, Tim Allen and Brian Scherry. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gina Allen, Tamara Scherry, Tiffany Schlicher, Carley Atkins, Stephanie Blackburn, Haley Broussard, Shelley Gorman, Daryl Broussard and Jeremy Broussard.
