Kitty Hudson

Kathleen "Kitty" Hudson, 87, of Orange, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at her daughter's residence.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with the Reverend Barry Bradley, pastor of First Baptist Church in Orange, officiating.

Private interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Born in Dallas on November 8, 1920, she was the daughter of Roy Wesley and Ella Mae Kreymer Robinson.

Mrs. Hudson was a registered nurse having worked for 25 years at Lutcher Hospital and 15 years at DuPont Sabine River Works and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Orange.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Douglas Hudson, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Edward Smith of Orange; sons and daughters-in-law, John Steven and Denise Hudson of Austin, Ronald Wesley and Vicki Hudson of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Melissa Calderone and her husband Mariano, Austin Smith and his wife Robin, Sarah Alice Hudson, Adam Barr, Davis Barr; and her great grandson, Logan Smith.
