Kristal Shea LaPoint, 36, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in Vinton, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. The family will receive friends beginning at noon on Monday.

Kristal was born in Orange on February 28, 1975. She is survived by her husband, Marc LaPoint; mother, Kathi Parr; father and step-mother, Dale and Terri Brooks; grandmother, Alene Hall; children, Brittany LaPoint, Mason LaPoint and Cloe LaPoint; and grandson, Michael LaPoint; brothers, Chad Brooks and Justin Parr and his wife Candice.
