Dear Collier family, I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. I hope these words give you solace.

I am so saddened by the death of LaDean. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I will continue to pray for the family.

I am so heart heavy at the loss of such a beautiful person. I became friends with LaDean in the *8th grade and have stayed in touch over the years since. She was always so cheerful, and that was contagious to those that were around her. She always made others feel special just by being around her. LaDean, you will be missed terribly by your family and friends, but God always has his plans, and I know you put your faith in him. There is a special Angel in Heaven today !

I'm at a loss for words so I will share here what I shared on FaceBook...... I'm so heartbroken by the loss of my friend LaDean Sherrell Collier. We've been friends since the 7th grade. We worked together for years. She fixed me up with my husband, Ronnie McCown, on a blind date. We shared so many ups and downs of this life together. She always made me laugh and pointed me in a positive direction when I talked to her. She gave me special comfort when I lost my brother, Bobby Sheffield, and I truly believe they are together now. She had faith in God and his plan so I know she is at peace. For that I am thankful.

So very sad to hear the news. LaDean was the cheerleader us "Freshman" wanted to be like. She was the sweetest person I've had the pleasure of knowing. May our God comfort her friends and family. Vicki Fricano Rector

My prayers are with you at this time LaDeane was a joy to be in school with. She was an underclassmen but never let that stop her on any of her accomplishments or friendship with everyone. I wasn't able to do a lot physically in school due to health at the time. But she encouraged me to participate in pep squad and I truly did enjoy my time with everyone. Heaven is rejoicing and LaDeane has earned her wings.
