Beatrice “Lanell” Johnson, 91, of Keller, passed away on March 2, 2020, in Bedford, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March, 9, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange, Texas.

Born in Leesville, Louisiana, on January 22, 1929, she was the daughter of Lawrence H. Scoggins and Mamie Cole Scoggins. Lanell was always known for her love of the beach and her keen fashion sense. She enjoyed tracing her family ancestry and volunteering with political conventions throughout Texas. Lanell loved spending time with her family and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mamie Scoggins; children, Gary Johnson and Juliana Cole Johnson; and siblings, Margaret Kay, Myril Scoggins, Edna Earl Kay, William Scoggins and Larry Scoggins.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Angela Langley, Gregory Sparks, and Kimberly Johnson; siblings, Van Burnell Scoggins and Gelena Bossier; and four great grandchildren.
