Larry Edgar Hudson, 52, of Houston, a former resident of Orange, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008, at the temporary location of Claybar Funeral Home, 1408 W. Park Ave., in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Bob Boone, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bridge City.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Larry was born in Orange on July 3, 1956. He has lived in Houston for the last four years and worked for the Rusty Brents Insurance Agency.
Preceded in death by his wife, Jan Hudson, Larry is survived by his mother, Lillie Henderson; father and step mother, Roy and Seleete Hudson, all of Orange; brother, Steve Hudson of Houston; and step children, Casey Hall of College Station and Sara Patterson of Beaumont.
Also surviving is his niece, Jenna Hudson; nephews, Cade Hudson and Corey Hardegree, all of Houston and aunt, Claudie Jones of Orange.
