Larry "Cheeseburger" Bruce, 60 was born August 24, 1952 in Fairfax, SC to Paul and Bonnie Harris Bruce and passed away September 3, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Larry was a long time resident of China, TX prior to relocating to Beaumont. After serving in the US Navy at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Larry worked in construction as a union ironworker for many years.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, September 8 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 9 at the funeral home.

Larry is survived by his wife, Zenda Brandin; daughters, Melissa Blunt and husband, Richard and Tiffany Hebert and husband, Joe; sons; Paul Bruce and Santana Brandin; grandchildren, Kaiden, Mackenzie and Addyson; brother, C.W. Bruce and sister, Sandy Cormier. He was preceded in death by his parents.
