The world has truly lost a great Godly lady. I was fortunate enough to meet Laura some 25 to 30 years ago. Although we didn't see each other much anymore, she always over the years stayed in touch with cards & letters. I can truly say it was an honor to have someone that special cross paths in my life. She is rejoicing in Heaven with God and her love ones in a perfect new Heavenly body. RIP my friend.

Lollie was a "smile" - she always had a smile on her face and always put a smile on yours. She loved the Lord and served Him by serving others. She and her much loved sister, Tina, drew me under their protective wings at a time in my life when I needed the closeness of Christian friends. Lollie was loving and kind to everyone around her. She had a way of making you feel special in some way. I know her loving husband and family are heartbroken by her passing, but have peace knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lollie, for the "footprint" you placed upon my heart. Vonette McBride June 8, 2015

To the Soileau family, I met Lollie many years ago through her step son. Then as an adult had the pleasure of attending church with her and going to various ladies events. Lollie always had a beautiful smile and a warm hug. I know Mr. Soileau will be left heart broken without this lovely woman by his side but she will always be in his heart. As we will always carry her. My prayers are with you all. Love Always, Nissa Burch

Dear Ones, We are so very sorry that you've lost Lollie but oh what joy and peace she has now. I'll always remember her as such a sweet, gentle, beautiful woman that always had a smile for anyone. One time, when the quilting ladies from FBCSL got together to make quilts for some people who couldnt afford them, she invited me to come and help. Of course, I told her I had a hard time sewing on a button but she told me there was plenty I could help with so I went. She immediatley put me to work sewing on a quilt! We had alot of great laughs that day and she insisted that I could quilt after all! LOL! She was truly a saint on earth. God called her home and of that I have NO doubt. This is a great loss for those she left behind but I hope you all know too, that she is in the arms of our Savior, never again to feel pain, sorrow or any of the things she had to endure while here on earth. Ferrell and Kent, my heart goes out to you and your families. Please know that we will pray for you in your time of grief. With much love, Cyndi and Jerry Tatom

"Scott Thomas Garrett", as you introduced yourself, I first met your mom as she faithfully brought you to preschool choir each week at FBC Beaumont. You were the most gorgeous and sweetest 5 year old ever; I fell in love with you and your mom. Laura and I bumped into each other over the years, and about 5 years ago, she and her friends re-worked and finished a quilt for me. We had a chance to really visit and catch up. I'm so glad to have had a lifetime friend, and I'm rejoicing with God at the homegoing of one of His saints.

I'm truly blessed for having the opportunity to have Lollie as a part of my life. My dad wouldn't be the same man he is today if it weren't for her. She will be missed but her memory will be cherished.
