Leigh Lorraine Maldonado, 76, of Humble was born Dec. 5, 1940 to Thomas and Maybelle (Gartman) Burch and passed away May 18, 2017 in Houston, Texas.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. in the Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Mrs. Maldonado had resided in Humble for the past 4 years and was a former resident of Beaumont. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church prior to her move to Humble, TX. She was retired as a head cashier with Montgomery Ward.
She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Bobby Snook of Humble, Pam and Alan Iafrate of Weston, Florida; son Victor Maldonado of Beaumont; grandchildren, Roddy Tesch Jr., Jessica Fortune, Don Morris Jr., Michael Ferguson Jr., Michael Snook, Isaac Maldonado, Michael Iafrate and Mark Iafrate. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Lanee Tesch, Alyssa Tesch and Charlotte Iafrate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Victor Maldonado and daughter, Valerie Hunn.
