Leland "Lee" Eugene Marlow, 75, of Beaumont passed away July 30, 2010.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Marlow was born May 2, 1935 in Newark, OH to Ralph Edgar and Garnette "Nine" Pauline Gough Marlow. He was a bank officer at First City National Bank of Beaumont, served in the Texas National Guard and was a member of the YMBL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, life partner, Carl Jenny; sister, Paticia Faye Alphin; brother-in-law, Carroll Alphin and several aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory are his nephews, Mark Alphin and Steven Alphin and wife, Dianne; great niece, Lauren Alphin and great nephew, Russell Alphin. He is also survived by his very dear friends, Darwin Halfin and Dorothy and Henry Jenny; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to thank Texas Oncology and all of the nurses and doctors who took such wonderful care of Mr. Marlow.

A Great Friend to all that knew him he will truly be missed. I met lee when i was only 18 years old before i came to work with him at West End Medical wiht my mom.
