Lener M. King Martin, 95, of Beaumont passed away October 27, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Pastor Mark Bodwen officiating.

Mrs. Martin was born in Shelbyville, Texas and has resided in Beaumont since 1993. She was a nurse and homemaker, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ on Dowlen Rd.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willis King; mother, Viola McCulland; son, L.B. Bolton; and granddaughter, JoAnn Martin.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joseph Martin of Lufkin, Jane A Noble, James Martin, Jr. and Patricia Martin all of Beaumont; 13 grandchildren, Jason Martin, Devonna Martin, Sheree Stewart, and Bobbie Lofton of Beaumont, Alecia Johnson of Katy, Priscilla Martin Chumbley and Darren Martin of Lufkin, Christopher Martin and Kenneth Bolton of Center, Brittanie Lister, Myiesha Fields of Dallas, Mary Bolton and Gloria Dean of Mansfield, La; 33 great-grandchildren and 32 Great-great-grandchildren.
