Lessie M. Dupuy, 92, of Corpus Christi, died Monday, June 2, 2008.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, with Reverend Jim McClintock, pastor, serving as celebrant.

The Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Visitation will begin Thursday at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Christian Wake service at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Born in Marksville, Louisiana on April 5, 1916, Mrs. Dupuy was the daughter of Azenor J. and Ovelia Guillot Dupuis.

She was a resident of Bridge City for 50 years before moving to Corpus Christi in 2002.

Mrs. Dupuy was a homemaker, member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St.Henry Altar Society and the Tejas Airstream Travel Club.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Dupuy, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Robert Judice of Broaddus, Leona and George Laird of Corpus Christi; brother, Sonny Dupuis; sisters, Enola Guillory and Delores Dauzot, all of Marksville, Louisiana; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
