Ligia Jacqueline Guzman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 19th, 2024.

A Funeral Service to honor Ligia's life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday, February 23, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

She was born in Nicaragua on April 10th, 1974, to Freddy Artola and Linda Guerrero. Ligia's life was marked by her passion for learning and dedication to her career. Starting at Moncla's, she quickly excelled and climbed the ranks within the company to Warehouse Manager. Ligia had a vibrant personality that shone through in everything she did. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life - from knitting to crabbing and fishing. Her love for travel took her to new places. However, above all else, Ligia cherished her family. Her grandbabies were her world, and she found great happiness in baking for her loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved beyond measure.

She is proceeded in death by her grandmother, Ligia Mercedes Solorzano; her brother, Rafael Artola; and her sister, Kristien Artola.

She is survived by her loving husband, Omar Ivan Guzman; her daughters, Jacqueline Mercedes Guzman and Celeste Neftali Anguiano and husband Aldo; her grandchildren, Mercedes Khaleesi Baker, Penelope Anguiano, Aldo Berlin Anguiano, and Omar Braulio Anguiano; her brothers, Alan Alberto Artola, Freddy Emir Artola; her sisters, Kyri Andell Artola, Ingrid Artola; along with many other cherished family members and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Freddy Artola, Alan Artola, Aldo Anguiano, Carlos Guzman, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jose Rodriguez.
