Lillie Klekar Clark

Lillie Theresa Klekar Clark, 85, of Orange, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at Memorial Herman Baptist Hospital Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph P. Daleo of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m., Monday, with a rosary vigil at 6:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.

Lillie was born on September 7, 1922 in Wallis, TX. She was the daughter of Emil and Clara Liberda Klekar. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Therese in Orange, Catholic Daughters, and worked on the bereavement team. Mrs. Clark was a wonderful cook, baker, and an expert gardener.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Easuel

Clark, Jr.; her parents; and nine brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her are her son, Judge Pat Clark and wife Rosalie of Orange; and grandchildren, Mary Ann Clark Aven and husband Bruce, Beth Ann Clark, and Patrick Clark Jr. and wife, Rachel; great grandchildren, Whitney Clark, Kolbe and Macey Aven, Christian, Jackson, William, and Abigail Clark; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pat and Rosalie extend a special thank you to the staff of Harbor Hospital in Orange.

Serving as pallbearers are Charles Miller, Daniel Ray Clark, John Scofield, Wayne Peveto, Jr. Vacek, and Joe Alford.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jim Sharon Bearden, Larry O?Keefe, Billy Berryman, Charles Janacek, and Bruce Aven.

Those wishing to make memorial donations, the family requests that they be made to St. Mary Catholic School Foundation 912 W. Cherry Avenue Orange, TX 77630.

I want to offer my condolences to Pat and family. My Dad, Harry, thought a lot of his sister. May they all meet in Heaven and have a Grand Klekar Reunion.
