Linda Ann Ard, 79, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2024, at her home in Silsbee, Texas

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Charles Jordan of Woodcrest Methodist Church in Lumberton, Texas. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 3, 1944, she was the daughter of Carlo Tallina and Lillie Tallina. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who had a vibrant personality that was cherished by all who knew her. She will be remembered as someone who wholeheartedly embraced life and brought joy to those around her. She was a woman of immense love and dedication towards her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Woodcrest Methodist Church. One of Linda's defining characteristics was her big Italian personality. Known for her warmth and vivacity, she had an incredible ability to light up any room she entered. Cooking was one of Linda's greatest passions in life. She dedicated countless hours crafting delicious meals for her family. Linda's unwavering support for her children and grandchildren extended beyond the kitchen. She was their number one fan when it came to sports events.

Another great love of Linda's life was fishing with her husband. These fishing trips were not just about catching fish; they served as precious moments Linda could revel in the beauty of nature while nurturing a deep bond with her husband. In every aspect of her life, Linda Ard exuded love, warmth, and generosity.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Lillie Tallina; her daughter, Karen Kaye Cloud; her sister, Rose Marie Pierce; and her brother, George Allen Tallina.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clayton E. Ard, Sr.; her sons, Clayton E. Ard, Jr., and Chad Michael Ard and wife Rhoda; her son in law, David Cloud; her grandchildren, Ryan Ard and wife Alexa, Katelyn Cloud Stillwell and husband Hunter, Caleb Ard, and Lauren Ard; her great grandchildren, Lane Ard and Kaye Stillwell; and many other loving family and friends.
