Lisa Ann Vincent

Lisa Ann Vincent, 50, of Beaumont, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Beaumont and most recently, a partner and the graphic artist of 3L Printing. Lisa is survived by her husband, Al Vincent and daughters, Lauren McIntyre of Kansas and Savannah Toomey of Beaumont. Other survivors include her mother, Norma Parsel, brother, Larry Parsel, and Karen Parsel, all of Beaumont; and sister, Linda Parsel and her husband David Harrison of Houston. Lisa is also survived by step-daughters, Anne Vincent and Kate Roden; as well as niece Katherine Morrow and husband David; and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Parsel.

Lisa was a rambunctious lover of life, music, people, and family with a laugh as big as her heart. She was a beautiful artist with a unique and bohemian soul. She touched too many people to name, all of whom were welcomed into her tight-knit circle of friends that grew exponentially throughout the years. Anyone who met her became a better person because of it and she will be greatly missed.

After a battle with lung cancer, Lisa passed away in her home with her pastor, Frank Alegria at her bedside and surrounded by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Beaumont on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the church and donations may be made in Lisa's name to Odyssey Hospice, 550 Fannin St. Ste. 1230, Beaumont, TX 77701 or the American Cancer Society, 755 S. 11th St., Ste 212, Beaumont, TX 77701.

25 years have passed since I last spoke with Lisa. But her ready laugh, warm smile and radiance are still part of me. I am grateful for her generous spirit, and quick and ready wit. I still have her "Kerrville Music Festival / 1986" poster on my wall, ##imported-begin##Peter Nicoll##imported-end##
