Lois Foreman Frederick

Lois Foreman Frederick, 59, of Orange, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010, at First Baptist Church Mauriceville with Reverend Kevin Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Linscomb Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange on September 8, 1950, Lois was the daughter of Wilbur Jesse Foreman and Vergie Mae Boothe Foreman. She was a member of First Baptist Church Mauriceville. Lois was a Band/Athletic Secretary for Little Cypress Mauriceville High School for the past 27 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

sisters, Berdie Lou Green, Rena Cormier, and Nona Hunter; brothers, Edwin, Danny, and Colbert Foreman; brother-in-law, Gary Cormier; and sister-in-law, Peggy Jo Foreman.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Deedie Frederick Mooney, her husband, Darrin, and son, Dylan of Vidor; her son, John Roy Frederick, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia and his sons, Drew and Matt Frederick.

Lois is also survived by her former husband and best of friend, John Roy Frederick, Sr. of Mauriceville; and her loving companion of 20 years, Jim Cornish of Vidor; brothers, Alvin, Nolan, and Ralph Foreman of Orange, and Nathan Foreman and wife, Betty of Crystal Beach; sisters, Jeannette Couch and husband, Cliff of Mauriceville, Beverly Holderman of Orange; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Ercell Frederick, Skylar Hunter, Nelson Nolden, David Williams, David Jones, and Charlie Coco. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Allen Frederick, Gerry Lee, and Tony Marcus.
