Lola G. McCarver, 83, died September 25, 2008 at the Meadows Nursing Home in Orange.

Services will be held Monday, September 29, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church in Orange with the Reverend Gary P. Wheeler officiating.

Visitation will be at the church on Sunday night from 7 until 9 p.m.

Interment will be at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Mrs. McCarver was a life long resident of Orange and worked as a cashier at Walgreen's in Orange.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Will, of 47 years, her son, Billy McCarver and her uncle Van McCarver. She is survived by her sons, Richard L. McCarver and Phillip W. McCarver and her daughter and son in law, Becky A. and Shawn Hathaway; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and her twin sister Ola Haluchak of Reno, NV.
