Born in Eunice, Louisiana, on January 02,1937, he was the son of Leo Heinen and Marie Heinen. Though he spent most of his adult life in Texas, he was always a Louisiana Boy at heart. Lowell was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking and gardening. He always supported his family, and among his list of talents was always knowing when was best to let his wife handle things. Lowell was a longtime member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. He was loved dearly and will me greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Heinen and Marie Heinen; his wife Catharine Heinen; and his sister Gwen Stewart; his son-in-law Dale Robinson.

He is survived by his Daughters Catey McCarty and husband Gary, Caroline Heinen, Susan Robinson, Sally Kelly and husband Brian, and Mary Heinen; his son Lowell Heinen Jr. and wife Mariann; Brother-in-law James Stewart; brothers Dr. Brian Heinen and wife Jennifer, Ferdie Heinen and wife Lori; sister Janet Martel and husband Donald; grandchildren Jason Atchison, Christina Holcombe, Catharine Heinen, Reagan Robinson, Corbin Heinen, Bryson Heinen, Bridget Kelly, Erin Kelly, and Zachary Robinson; great grandchild Aiden Holcombe.

Big Daddy has left the building and has gone to the Golden Gilchrist in the sky. He'll always be here in memory. Too many memories of good times spent with Cathy and. Lowell. He weathered his share of difficult times but managed to rise above them. Always the good buddy. Requiescant en pace, Big Daddy. Mack

To all of our Heinen Cousins, We have many fond memories of Cathy and Lowell when they were first married and visiting quite often in Houston. We always enjoyed their sweetness and laughter. They were a wonderful couple and we know that they are now together again in Heavenly bliss. We hope that brings you comfort and peace. Lowell was so loved. Sending lots of hugs and prayers. Love, Colleen and Randy
