Loyce Eskew Frusha

Loyce Eskew frusha, 87, passed away January 12, 2011 in Beaumont.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2011 at The First Baptist Church in Silsbee. A graveside service will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at The Bastrop Cemetery in Bastrop, TX.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Frusha was born April 4, 1923 in Bastrop. A faithful wife and mother, she did clerical and book keeping work for several businesses.

A faithful Christian from her youth, Mrs. Frusha was a member at First Baptist Church of Silsbee and a former member of First Baptist Church of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her husband, G. Ray Frusha; son, John Frushay; parents, C.W. and Grace Eskew and siblings, Marjorie Simpson and C.A. Eskew.

She is survived by her son, C. Ray Frushay of Pearland; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Martha Frusha of Lumberton and daughter-in-law, Polly Frushay of Bastrop. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church of Silsbee.

Mark and family, In the short time I have known your mom she is one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Always laughing, always with a kind word for everyone. Mark, Sorry to hear about your Mom - I have a lot of great memories of her and your dad. My favorite was how she would always want the house clean - we used to joke that she wouldn't go on a vacation without cleaning the house first.
