Lucille Ellen Gauthier, 88, of Orange, died, Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Memorial Herman Baptist Orange Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Reverend Tom Phelan will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Mrs. Gauthier was born July 6, 1918, in Jeanerette, LA to Sidney J. and Cora J. Hebert Gary.

Mrs. Gauthier was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest ?Pete? Gauthier, Sr., four sisters and eight brothers.

She is survived by her sons Ernest Gauthier, Jr. and wife Vickie of Silsbee, Michael Gauthier and wife Kathy of Orange, daughters, Geraldine Bagesse and husband Virge of Orange, Judith Fields of Orange; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Also surviving her are sisters Clara Dooley and Corrine Albert of Jeanerette, LA.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Cockerham, Scott Cockerham, Virge Bagesse, Jr., Shane Gauthier, Andrew Chesson and Dustin Chesson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Minton, Michael West, Jason Norsworthy, Reggie Johnson and Jason Cockerham.

The family suggests Memorial Contribution be made to American Heart Association, 7415 Eastex Plaza Drive, Beaumont, TX 77708.
