Lucille Wilson Breeden

Funeral services for Lucille Wilson Breeden, 84, of Sour Lake, Texas will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Sour Lake. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Mrs. Breeden was born May 29, 1927 in Pear Ridge, Texas and passed away November 16, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A resident of Sour Lake since 1970, she was a former resident of Beaumont. A Beaumont High School graduate, she retired from the credit department of Sears and Roebuck, was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and the Sour Lake Lions Club. Mrs. Breeden was also a Senior Volunteer at Parkdale Mall and a member of the Native Plant Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Phillips Breeden, Sr.; brothers, Bill and J.W. Wilson; sisters, Mathilda Poole, Lillian Martin and Helen Wilson; and an infant son.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and James Wheeler of Lumberton; son and daughter-in-law, Cal and Terrie Breeden of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Cal, Phil, Justin and Jennifer Breeden, and Denise, Kristina and Katie Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Kacey, Kiersten and Jacy Breeden.

The members of the Sears Retirees Club will certainly miss Lucille. She was such a sweet lady,and we always looked forward to seeing her at the meetings -- and at the Family Shopping Night at Sears.
