Mackie Lee Darrington ?Miss Jackie?, 68, of Port Arthur, Texas departed this life on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 7:55 p.m. while resting peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at The Rock Outreach Center in Port Arthur, Texas.

Mackie was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late McKinley Darrington and Rosa Judware. She was a life-long resident of Port Arthur. Mackie who was well known as ?Miss Jackie? was loved by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joseph Kemp and McKinley ?Butch? Darrington, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheryl Darrington; grandson, Shawndre Darrington; granddaughter, Cierra Alexander, all of Port Arthur; great-grandson, Deshawn Darrington of Houston; sister, Rose Darrinton; brother, James Darrington of Philidelphia; a host of nieces; nephews and friends; and special friends, Pastor Phillip and Tiffany Baugh, Curtis Alexander and Compassion Hospice.
