Maggie Cooley

Funeral services for Maggie Cooley, 84, of Beaumont will be held Monday, June 16, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Brother Crain officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cooley was born February 7, 1924 in LaBelle, Texas to Charles and Leora Craigen Barton, and went to be with her Lord, June 14, 2008. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, L. J. Cooley and sister, Elsie Leger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Eloise Martin; and nephews and nieces, Robert and Judy Leger, Billy Ray and Amanda Leger, Leroy and Ann Leger, Eugene and Zona Martin, Russell and Fran Martin, Lloyd and Susie Martin and Roger Martin.
