Mamie Laurentz, 92, of Kountze, was born March 29, 1923 in Church Point, Louisiana to the late Clay and Lula (Bellard) Richard and passed away on June 3, 2015 in Beaumont. She was a retired beautician, a member of the Catholic church and longtime resident of Southeast Texas.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donia and George Brown; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Pat Gautreaux, Jim and Carolyn Gautreaux; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-7:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with a Christian Wake service at 5:00 p.m.
