Marcus Neal Duhon

Marcus Neal Duhon, 52, of Mauriceville died on December 12, 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 15, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Maurice Catholic Church. Reverend Delphyn Meeks will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Orange.

Mr. Duhon was born in Orange, TX to Mabry Duhon and Verna Simon Duhon. He worked as a teacher's aide in the Beaumont ISD for 20 years and was very active in the deaf community. A loving uncle, brother and son, he is preceded in death by his father, Mabry Duhon and two sisters, Margaret Nell and Mary Arlene Duhon.

Marcus is survived by his mother, Verna Duhon and two brothers; Richard Duhon and wife, Cheryl of Orange and Donald Duhon and wife Eleanor of Scottsdale, AZ; nieces and nephews Brandi Miller and husband Mike, Kristi Burr, Risa Nelms and husband Colby, Hunter Duhon, Angela Duhon, Erica Burr, Skyler Authement and Brice Authement. He also leaves his life long friends, Kay and Ramon Gonzales and their children, R.C., Amanda and Kate.

I remember Marcus from school Christmas parties as children. Mrs. Duhon always brought him. I ran into Mrs. Duhon and Marcus a few years ago. He was always such a delight. Your family and friends are in my thoughts and my prayers.##imported-begin##Linda Lindley##imported-end##
