Margaret Ann Rowley Blalock, 78, of Vidor passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in Beaumont, TX. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the chapel of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, September 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret was born February 2, 1934 in Port Huron, Michigan to James and Frances Rowley. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Blalock; daughter, Teresa Duke; son, Tony Blalock and his wife, Virginia; grandchildren, Athena Shettlesworth, David Rutledge, Faith Blalock, Antony Blalock, Amy Spoonemore and Thomas Blalock; great-grandchildren, Ronald, Daniel and Ruthie Shettlesworth, and Merri-Lynn and Destinee Kennedy; and sisters, Phyliss Zimmers, Darlene Hannon, Anna English, Shirley Smith, and Janet Packer. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leslie Brown, Dorsey Brown, Butchie Brown, and Donald Wilcox and one sister, Carol DeLong.
