Margaret Perkins Kohn

Funeral services for Margaret Perkins Kohn, 90, of Beaumont, will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with Reverend Don Plott and Reverend Scott Newell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Margaret was born August 16, 1917 in Ward, Louisiana to James Andrew and Nancy Markle Perkins and passed away January 3, 2008 in Vidor, Texas. She was a charter member for seventy five years and attended faithfully, Voth Baptist Church where she was a church clerk and Sunday School teacher.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Gail Kohn; her parents; sons, Lloyd Kohn, Melvin Kohn, Jimmy Kohn and Roy Kohn; brother, Albert Perkins and sisters, Ruth Caudle and Modele Rutledge she is survived by three daughters-in-law, Joan Kohn of Fort Worth, Joyce Kohn of Vidor and Becky Kohn of Bevil Oaks; sister Alberta Revia of Beaumont; brother R.L. Perkins of Montgomery, Alabama; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Her family sends many thanks to Oakwood Manor Nursing Home and Hospice of Texas for all of the care and support given to Margaret.
