Margie Eva Breaux

Margie Eva Breaux, 79, was born in Beaumont July 3, 1933. She was a graduate of South Park High School and Lamar University. She married Merlin Breaux May 4, 1951. She was the child of Arial "Cap" Aiken and Claudine "Barney" Aiken. She was the last of three girls; Betty Aiken and Jeannie Hunter.

Her parents; sister, Betty Aiken, husband and son, James Breaux predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Wayne and wife Fay, daughter, Charlotte Brown and husband, Gene, son Richard and wife, Diane and daughter, Camille Hasbrouck and husband, Tom; sister, Jeannie Hunter; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Margie used her degree to become an exceptional math teacher. Afterward, she and Merlin opened a lumber and hardware business in Sour Lake. When she retired, she volunteered in the Hardin-Jefferson School District. Being a Christian, Wife and Mother were very important to her. We will be forever grateful for the special parents God chose for us.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, Beaumont. A graveside service will be at the Breaux Cemetery in Sour Lake on Tuesday, December 18 at 10:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Chaplains Program C/O Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital, 3080 College St., Beaumont, TX 77701.
