Marguerite Moore Mahfouz, 83, of Bridge City, died, Saturday, February 6, 2010 at her home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Green, Reverend Anita Green, and Reverend Brad Morgan.

Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

Marguerite was born on October 22, 1926 in Noble, LA. She was the daughter of Jack R. and Beulah Vines Moore. Marguerite was a resident of Bridge City for 55 years and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Beulah Moore; husband, Olin Mahfouz; daughter, Judy Mahfouz Elliott; brothers, Travis Moore and Mack Elree Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Faye Knight and husband, Chris of Bridge City; brother, Don Moore and wife, Clothidle of Bellville, TX; granddaughters, Rachel Bernal and husband, Luis of Baytown, TX and Amanda Uzzle of Bridge City; grandsons and wives, Chuck Uzzle and Leslie of West Orange, Brady Pullen and Candis of Houston, Christopher Knight and Jennifer of Cedar Park, TX, T.J. Knight and Selena of Mesquite, TX, Tony Knight and Shawn, Cody Knight and Lauren, and Jamey Knight and Kari all of Bridge City; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kelsey, Hunter, Devon, Braden, Tanner, Callie, Caleb, Parker, Maddy, Jonah, Anna, Avery, Jackson, McKenna, Triston, Pierceson; one great great-granddaughter, Paisley; sisters-in-law, Maxine Morgan, Trula Moore, and Cecil Moore; and brother-in-law, Nima Mahfouz and Helen of West Orange.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Uzzle, Brady Pullen, Luis Bernal, Tony Knight, T.J. Knight, Cody Knight, Jamey Knight, Jordan James, Hunter Uzzle, and Tanner Cervanka.
