Maria Guadalupe Miranda, 47, of Beaumont, passed away on July 1, 2018, at Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

A memorial service will be 2:00pm, Friday, July 20, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Beaumont. Officiating will be Pastor Silverio Sanchez.

Born in Apaxtla, Guerrero, Mexico, on January 6, 1971, she was the daughter of Lazaro Miranda and Marina Castaneda Miranda. Maria was a very hardworking and determined mother. If it meant working little side jobs on top of her full time work so her children were taken care of. Maria would do it. She always had a life of struggle. However, she would never let her children know. Her humor and loud presence was sure to be known by anyone who came in contact with her. She would always greet the ones she loved with lots of little kisses, "mucho besitos." Most importantly the love and care she showed for her children or "bebitos," will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by, her father, Lazaro Miranda; brothers, Elias Miranda and Javier Miranda; and her nephew, Javier Miranda.

She is survived by her mother, Marina Castaneda Miranda; children, Daisy Mireles and Ernesto Miranda; grandchild, Luna Garcia; one great-grandchild; brothers, Jesus Miranda and Lenin Miranda; sister, Quirina Miranda and three other surviving siblings.
