Ma. Del Pilar Pardo Guzman, 84, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
She was born on October 12, 1940, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, she was the daughter of Epigmenio Pardo and Maria de Jesus Guzman. Ma was a person of vibrant spirit and kindness, known for her love of dancing and gardening. Her home was often filled with the sounds of music, and she found great pleasure in nurturing her plants, which mirrored her nurturing nature towards her family. Maria’s enduring commitment to her loved ones defined her life; family was always number one in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Epigmenio Pardo Tobías and Ma. De Jesús Guzmán García; her children, José Roberto Guzmán Pardo, Hilda Guzmán Pardo, and Bernardo Guzmán Pardo; her grandparents, Patricio Guzmán Portales and María Isabel García Compeán; and her siblings, Francisco Pardo Guzmán, Cruz Pardo Guzmán, and Flora Pardo Guzmán.
She is survived by her husband, Bernardo Guzmán García, her children, Ma. Laura Guzmán Pardo, Leticia Guzmán Pardo, José Jaime Guzmán Pardo, María Verónica Guzmán Pardo, María Norma Guzmán Pardo, and Alma Rosa Guzmán Pardo; her daughter and son in laws, Ma. Macarena Ortiz Martínez, Gabriel Ortiz Martínez, Rogelio Castillo López, Braulio Anguiano Sánchez, Angel Morquecho Rodríguez, and Marco Antonio Delgado Acuña; her grandchildren, Nereyda Lynn Mendoza Guzmán, Wendy Victoria Mendoza Guzmán, Christopher Anguiano Guzmán, Arely Yetzanami Guzmán Ortiz, Konnery Ayrami Ortiz Guzmán, Aldo Anguiano Guzmán, Jhoselyn Leirbag Ortiz Guzmán, Jaime Alain Guzmán Ortiz, Michelle Itzayana Delgado Guzmán, Missael Anguiano Guzmán, Rogelio Castillo Guzmán, Marco Uriel Delgado Guzmán, Jeffrey Castillo Guzmán, and Chelsea Castillo Guzmán; her great grandchildren, Bryden Fernando Ruvalcaba Ortiz, Iker Milan Ruvalcaba Ortiz, Damián Morales Mendoza, Chris Jeylan Anguiano Castillo, Isabella Anguiano Castillo, Gael Santino Anguiano Castillo, Penélope Anguiano Guzmán, Aldo Berlín Anguiano Guzmán, Omar Braulio Anguiano Guzmán, and Santiago Sánchez Guzmán; her siblings, Estefanía Pardo Guzmán, Ma.
