Maria Lopez Parra, 56, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2023, at Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be 9:00am, Friday, May 5, 2023, at Cristo Rey Church in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Father Miguel of Cristo Rey Church in Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Obrajuelo Apased El Grande, Mexico, on September 3, 1966, she was the daughter of Jesus Lopez and Eulalia Hernandez. Maria took pride and joy taking care of her son Gael Parra who was born with Cerebral Palsy and other special needs. She liked to be a part of the church and spending time with her friends and family. She was a loving mother who treasured her family so much and would do anything to make sure they were taken care of. She loved to drink her coffee every morning while listening to her favorite church songs and listening to her friends do service online. She always looked forward to Christmas, excited to spend time with her family and doing the tradition of making tamales with her grandchildren. Maria was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Jesus Lopez; and brother Estevan Lopez
She is survived by her husband Ubaldo Parra; her sons Gael Parra and Oscar Parra of Beaumont, Alvaro Lopez and wife Erika Lopez, and David Lopez and wife Ruth Lopez; her mother Eulalia Hernandez of Mexico; and grandchildren Abigail Lopez, Hailey Lopez, Nataly Lopez, Itzel Lopez, and Cristain Lopez. Numerous other family and friends.

Lopezy Eulalia Hernandez. Maria tomaba orgullo > alegria en cuidado de su hijo Gael Parra,
quien nacio con Paralisis Cerebral otras necesidades especiales Le gustaba ser parte la
iglesia S pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Era una madre amorosa quien apreciaba mucho a
su familia y haria cualquier cosa por asegurarse que estuvicran bien. Le encantaba tomar su cafe
todas las mañanas mientras escuchaba sus canciones fa voritas de la iglesia y escuchar a sus
amigos hacer servicio en linea. Siempre esperaba con desco Navidad, emocionada de pasar
tiempo con su familia y llevar acabo la tradicion de hacer tamales con sus nietos. Maria era una
amorosa esposa, madre, y abuela quien sera grandemente extrañada por su familia amigos
