Marie Ella Warren Kliesch, 93, of Santa Maria, California, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in a care facility in Santa Maria.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, in the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Bradley, pastor of First Baptist Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Born in Franklinton, Louisiana on January 30, 1918, she was the daughter of Mary Magdaline Smith and William Edgar Warren.

Mrs. Kliesch came to Orange in 1945 and following the death of her husband, years later, moved to Santa Maria to be near her son and daughter-in-law. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Orange.

Preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Kliesch and son, Howard "Carl" Kliesch, Mrs. Kliesch is survived by her daughter-in-law, Irene Kliesch of Nipomo, California and her sons, Mike McGuire and Sean McGuire; grandchildren, Michele Hyde and William Kliesch and great granddaughter, Lauren Rowsey.

Aunt Marie, You were always such a pleasant lady and guest in our home at Thanksgiving and Easter. And, yum yumm what a pecan pie you made. Will never forget your influence in our lives.
