Marilyn Glenda Tompkins, 75, of Beaumont was born November 12, 1932 in Peoria, IL and passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at her son's home in Groves. She was a homemaker and had resided in Beaumont since 1980.

Following cremation, private interment services will be held at Haven of Rest Cemetery. She is survived by 4 sons, Charles Tompkins of Groves, Gary Tompkins of Beaumont, Michael Tompkins of Kentucky, and Allen Tompkins of Elmwood, IL; 3 daughters, Debra Blumthal and husband, Robert, of Springfield, IL, Cindy Jones of Beaumont and Pamela Zerwen of East Peoria, IL; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tompkins, son, Roy Tompkins, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
