Martha Ann Cantu, 57, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at her home.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., on June 8, 2011 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Brother Keith Meyer of Old First Orange Baptist.

Martha was born on September 18, 1953 in Port LaVaca to Joe A. and Lena Camacho Portilla. She was a homemaker and a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. She also was known for her homemade tamales that she enjoyed making.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Cantu and brother, Donnie Camacho.

Those left to cherish her are her parents, Joe and Lena Portilla; children, Ashley Cantu and boyfriend, J.C. Sanchez, Nicholas Cantu and Parisa Wright and grandchildren, Taylor and Morgan McKay. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Wayne Portilla, Patricia Brown, Priscilla Portilla, Isabel Bartz, Pamela Portilla, Carolyn Halliburton, Conrad Portilla and David Portilla; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who all love her dearly.
