Martin Kent McDaniel, 45, of New Braunfels, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Randy J. Blanton of Kyle, Texas.

Graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hemphill.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas on February 11, 1966, Martin was the loving husband of Ramona Dee Kinder McDaniel, and the amazing father of Blake Kent McDaniel and Meagan Jo McDaniel.

Martin was preceded in death by his father, Miles Wayne McDaniel.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona McDaniel; son, Blake McDaniel; daughter, Meagan McDaniel; mother, Kathy McDaniel; brother, Michael McDaniel; sister, Donna McDaniel Enloe and a host of friends, family and his extended ?Corrections? family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Butch Head, Jason Jones, James Murphy, David McComis, Dwight Sims, Charles Cooper, David Cole and Dean Caldwell.
