Mrs. Bartlett was an amazing woman that influenced my childhood. She showed me an example of being a well respected mother and wife, along with a career of a loving nurse. She always handled the despair at times with such grace and composure. I strive to be half the woman, mother, and grandmother she is. I remember she always made time to visit and talk to me when I was young and in and out of her kitchen all the time. She made me feel like family even though she had plenty of her own. As an adult I still think of her often and wish now I would have let her know how important she was to me as a child.
