May Jehovah comfort the Blackburn's family at this most difficult time...

I wanted to offer my condolences for the loss of your dear one. She had such a sweet smile! Words alone cannot fill the void you feel, but the scriptures provide so much comfort. When I lost my 92-year old mother recently, I was comforted to know that God has promised a resurrection (John 5:28, 29), to an earth with no suffering, death, or pain (Revelation 21:3, 4). Before my mother died, she was relieved to know that Jesus compared death to sleep (John11:11-13), and showed his power over death by the resurrection of his friend Lazarus. All this and more is promised under God's kingdom (Matthew 6:9,10 and Psalms 37:10,11). I look forward to that day, for my mother as well as for Wylene. Please accept my loving condolences.

I'm sorry that I will miss the service for Aunt Wylene and be able to share memories with her family and my other cousins. I've enjoyed those bittersweet times when we have visited together. Each of those gatherings, I have seen us all as teenagers and young kids playing around, rather than the adults we have become - and I cant' think of anytime on our many trips to Beaumont that I didn't enjoy being around my cousins. I'm thankful in my belief that her and David are whole, happy, and together once again. My prayers are bountiful in thoughts to Aunt Wylene and all of her extended family, but especially for Phillip, William, Carolyn, and Robert Earl. Love to all and all of yours, Walter Blackburn, for all of the Sid Blackburn clan
