Mary L. Dillon, 72, was born February 21, 1941 in Salem, IL to James David and Ruby Lucille Moore Pogue and passed away June 12, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Dillon worked as an administrative assistant/secretary for many years and last worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as it was being constructed in Beaumont, TX.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert L. “Bob” Dillon; her children, Deadra Hereira and her husband, Oscar R. of Beaumont, TX, Darin R. Dillon and his wife, Sandi of Cypress, TX, Robert Dillon, Pat Dillon, James Dillon, Tom Dillon and his wife, Jane, Catherine Jones; her sister, Joy Lassiter; 10 grandchildren, Kayla and Kinsey Dillon, Christopher Hereira, Daniel, Michael, Carly and Joshua Dillon, Shannel Dick and Michelle and Rebeka McMahon; her niece, Diane Ritter and her nephew, David Punneo and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James David and Ruby Moore Pogue and her grandparents, George and Ann Moore.
