Mary Lee Pelaez

Mary Lee Glaze Pelaez, 84, a former resident of Bridge City, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at The Meadows in Orange.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City, with the Reverend Bob Boone, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bridge City, officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Born in Sour Lake on October 1, 1925, Mrs. Pelaez was the daughter of Henry and Iris Reavis Glaze.

She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Bridge City.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul O. Pelaez; and grandson, Paul Randall Pelaez, Jr., she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Mary Beth Pelaez of Bridge City; daughter, Darlene Frances Pelaez of Terrell; honorary daughter, Nancy Barela of Terrell; two grandchildren, Amy Lee Pelaez and Larry Joseph Pelaez; sister, Leola Muntz of Groves; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Randy Pelaez, Larry Joseph Pelaez, Zelton Beall, Darlene Pelaez, Billy James and Morgan James.
