Mary Lou Guidry, 61, of Orange died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, May 18, 2008, at 2:00 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Trinkle, chaplain of Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.

Interment will be at St. Marys Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Mary Lou was born on July 27, 1946 in Orange. She was the daughter of Nathan McCarver, Sr. and Susie Davis. She was a member of Maranatha Christian Center.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Guidry; parents, Nathan and Susie McCarver; daughter, Brenda Dugas; brother, Nathan McCarver, Jr. and her sister, Clodia Proctor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda Payne of Groves and husband Fletcher, Glenda Beach of Orange and husband Gary, and her son Greg Guidry; grandchildren, Brandon Dugas, Andrew Beach, and Gary Beach Jr.; brothers, Charles McCarver, Sr., Eddie McCarver, Sr. and sister, Mae Hennigan.

Serving as pallbearers are Charles McCarver, Jr., Ricky Roberts, Tommy Wayne McCarver, Dennis Britt, Preston Armstrong, and Timothy McCarver.

Honorary pallbearers are Gerrod McCarver, John Kovatch and Justin McCarver.
