Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Maurine Johnson Bryant, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at the age of 89.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Reverend Wearthy Shank will officiate.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Maurine was born August 4, 1918, to Nora and Sam Collins in Newton County, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Nora Collins, husband, W. T. Johnson of 37 years and husband W.W. Bryant of 27 years, two brothers, A. G. Collins and Onnie Collins, one sister, Pauline Davidson Permenter all of Orange.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a brother Floyd Collins of Orange and a sisterFredia Sullivan of CA, son Randy Johnson and wife Anita of Orange, daughter Phyllis Carmack and husband Jimmy of San Marcos, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
