Melba Lee Wooden, 81, died November 15, 2007, at The Meadows in Orange.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at North Orange Baptist Church. Reverend Lynn Ashcraft will officiate.

Mrs. Wooden was born February 7, 1926, in Fouke, Arkansas, to Alton and Velma Attaway Griffin.

She is survived by husband, Joe E. Wooden of Orange, daughters, Vickie Landry and husband Randy of Buna, Sandra Cooper and husband Jeff of Orange, son, Jeff Harmon and wife Wendi of New Braunfels, stepdaughter Barbara Seaman and husband Johnny of Deweyville; grandchildren, Dominick Landry, James Hill, Justin Simpson, Brandon Harmon, Blake Harmon, Ben Harmon, Gabrielle Harmon, step grandchildren, John Seaman, Lisa and Theresa Toth; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Chloe and Slade Landry.

i want to send my warmest reguard to the wooden family. what i remember most about melba is every time I spoke to her I would make the comment "has anyone told you they loved you today" she would always say no and i would say "well at least you know there##imported-begin##john seaman##imported-end##
