Michael Johnathan Keener was born February 21st, 1977 in Phoenix Arizona. When Michael was a child he loved his parents very much. His father George Robert Keener raised Michael and instilled in him a love for animals. At one time in his youth Michael cared for eighty dogs at one time along with other animals such as rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese. He could never turn an animal away when in need. Michael had a deep love for family and always wanted everyone to live together, he loved his family more than anything. On March 6th, 2010 Michael married Graciela Gomez, which turned out to be a great adventure in his life. He was a very hard worker and wanted to provide everything for his family. It brought him great joy in life to be able to not only provide the necessities but the wishes and desires of his family also. Michael was a loving and protective father to his daughter Alondra. He was always very proud of the young woman she is becoming. Michael treated his nephews and nieces, as they were his own children, he lived his life always trying to set a good example to them. He always focused on the positive from each of them and encouraged them to fulfill their dreams; he loved to watch them grow in their accomplishments. Michael loved his family deeply and wanted the best for everyone and would find ways to help all those around him.

Michael Johnathan Keener was not only a good son, husband, brother and father to many he was considered a very close friend. Michael could never turn anyone in need away. He would not judge someone for their shortcomings; he would just find a way to bring out the best person in you. The lives that Michael has touched will forever be blessed because of the love and understanding he showed to everyone he met. Michael will be dearly missed in this world. We know he is watching over us and preparing the way for us in the life to come. Michael we truly love you and miss you. Thank you for your love and presence in our lives.
