Michael Paul Racca, 30, of Orangefield, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Memorial Herman Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Johnny Harrison.

Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Michael was born on March 11, 1979 in Nederland, Texas. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Sandy Racca of Orangefield; parents, Bonnie and Ricky Borel of Orangefield; father, Richard Racca of Westlake, LA; grandparents, Eugene and Vena Harrison of Orange; sister, Talissa Racca of Orange; brothers, Ricky Don Borel, Jr. of Orange, Jason Racca of Lake Charles, LA; and aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece and nephew and many friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Brian Bigby, Calvin Hutson, Casey Robinson, Gary Meyer, Aaron Meyer, Alan Bates and Jason Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Harrison, Eugene Harrison and Chris Robinson.
