Mickey M. Self Sr., 57, was born October 28, 1955 in Orange, TX to Billy and Shirley Jones Self and passed away January 21, 2013 in Beaumont, TX. Mickey was a long-time resident of the Beaumont area and was a self-employed diesel mechanic.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 23 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 4560 Hwy 87 South, Orange, TX.

Mickey is survived by his sons; Mickey M. Self II of Hughes Springs, TX and Billy W. Self of Lone Star, TX; three grand-children, DaCota, Alexis and Austyn; sisters, Patresa Premick and husband, Charles and Evelyn Rinaman of Gibsonia, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the residence of Patresa Premick at 3357 Cramlington Drive, Gibsonia, PA 15044-8249.

Pat I know the service for Mickey was a very hard thing for you and Evlyn. You did a great job and noone else could have done it better. Mickey was great neighbor.
