Linda and Keith, your mom will always be a special memory for all the patients I've had. Serving her as her friend at Harbor was a pleasure. I'm thankful for her faith in Jesus Christ. It was an honor to have prayed with her and with you and her together. Thank you for the privilege of serving her and family. Mark Adams Harbor Hospice chaplain

My memories of Mrs. Eddy start in 1965/1966. Linda was my first best friend in the neighborhood. Mrs Eddy, which is how I addressed her then, was a very nice mom to me. Thru the years she became more than a nice mom, we had some real talks the older we got and me being me, I’m sure I drove her crazy with my constant questioning why this, why not etc…. But she always answered me agitated or not, truthfully. The family, which had become almost mine, made a large move the year we graduated in 1978 to England, that was hard for me but, the next year I got to visit Linda and her parents there and we made so many good memories. I love the Eddys and miss them but, they are together again and that is best. Linda and Keith I’ll always love you as family and hold you in my heart forever I’m sorry for your loss. Rip Mrs. Eddy ( Millie) you’ll be missed!

Dear Linda & Keith, I am so deeply sorry about the loss of Mama Eddy. I am heart broken. She was an incredibly special person, so full of life, humor & love. I remember the first time I met her years ago, when we all spent Labor Day moving into our classrooms at Amelia because of last minute asbestos abatement that year. You were across the hall from me. Mama Eddy moved into my heart that year, and she will always hold a special place there. She was always so calm and serene, with her ever present beautiful smile. Millie Eddy was the epitome of everything that embodied a lady, especially graciousness, beauty and dignity. In my opinion, she was a class act. Your mother (and you!) was such a comfort to me after Jim died, and again a few months later after my accident, when I was processing the loss of the use of my legs, as well as coping with the death of my friends in the same accident. Millie Eddy was a treasure, and I'm so glad to have known her. She made an impact on the world around her, with her kindness and gentle ways, and as such, left it a better place. I feel blessed to have known the wonderful person that she was. I have no doubt that she is with your dad, free from pain and illness, trying out her new wings in our Lord's heavenly kingdom. May you and Keith find peace and comfort in God's peace, which passes all understanding. You are both in my heart and prayers. With love, Linda Wortham Cook John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
