Misty Lynn Wineland, 45, of Lumberton, passed away on August 10, 2021, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Praise Church in Beaumont. Burial will follow at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021, at Praise Church in Beaumont.
Born in Houston, Texas, on April 25, 1976, she was the daughter of Leo Maldonado and Linda Fisher (Ellis). Misty was a preschool teacher at Woodcrest Mother’s Day Out in Lumberton, she loved her job very much. Misty loved crafting, the more difficult the project the more she enjoyed it. Misty never turned down a project even if it was a last-minute order. She was always on the lookout for Rae Dunn Pottery, those pieces were special to her. Misty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, they were her world. She was selfless, always going out of her way to help others and her community. Misty was a member of Praise Church in Beaumont. She was always giving her dogs and cats all the affection and attention she could. Misty was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Fisher; grandmothers, Betty Ellis, Alicia Maldonado; and grandfather, Leonard Maldonado, Sr.
She is survived by her husband Joe Wineland; father and stepmother, Leo Maldonado, Jr. and wife Lucy Maldonado; stepfather, Rusty Fisher; grandfather, Robert Ellis and wife Rhonda; children, Colby Delk and wife Rebekah, Corey Delk and wife Julie, Madison Jones, Jolie Wineland, Jaxson Wineland; siblings, Ricky Turner, Anjelique Maldonado, Kristen Maldonado; father and mother-in-law, Clifford Wineland and wife Rosie; sister-in-law, Sherry Hendrix and husband Robert; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who all loved her dearly.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Howard, Randy Howard, Shane Landry, Ethan Landry, Matt Sheffield, and Brandon Locke.
